Our Sponsors

The 5th Annual African World Peace Festival (AWPF) is brought to you by our founding sponsors - Cultural & Heritage Alliance and Loving Hands International; our Presenting Sponsor - The Arts Council of Fayetteville; as well as various non-profits, businesses and organizations.   All proceeds from the event go to our founding sponsors to fund cultural & humanitarian-based programs.

Culture & Heritage Alliance (CHA) serves as a network of resources to bring indigenous artists together, work with communities and educational institutions to promote the works of emerging artists while fostering cultural diversity and education through the use of cultural performances, exhibitions, storytelling, and presentations to various groups.

Loving Hands International is public humanitarian and volunteer-based IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organizing in underserved communities, here in North Carolina, the US and Ghana, West Africa. They work to promote and improve overall quality of life, and to overcome poverty.

The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County acts as a link between artists, arts and cultural organizations and the community. AWSF is supported by the Arts Council in part by contributions from businesses and individuals, and through grants from the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.

Ways to Support

Festival Mission

Support founding sponsor

Your support will further the mission of our founding sponsor -Culture & Heritage Alliance - to promote peace through dance performances, cultural exhibitions music and storytelling to preserve and inform others of the culture, customs and traditions of all indigenous peoples.

Raise funds for school in Ghana

We also extend our support to our partnering sponsor, Loving Hands International (LHI). The mission of LHI is to build a balanced community using donation resources to strengthen and improve quality of lives of the poor and the needy in undeserved communities in the US and Ghana. For this year's event, our fundraising goal is to raise $30,000 for 20 computers and other important projects for Anani Memorial International School in Ghana, Africa. Additionally, we will be holding a Book Drive for them to take on their regular mission trip Ghana.

Support local non-profits

In addition to our overseas fundraising efforts, we will be supporting two amazing local charities. Cape Fear Valley Sweet Kids Camp and Designing Station. With your help we hope to send 5 kids from low-income families to camp next summer and donate $1000 to Designing Station to support their mission in serving individuals and families transitioning from homelessness and fleeing domestic violence with very low income who live in Cumberland and Robeson County, NC.
